Just like the title of this blog explains, I’m a fan of David Yost’s work. His books are a good place to get a bit more in depth about what he has to say. Like most techy types, I’m not an expert when it comes to this topic but I think I have a pretty good grasp on what he is talking about.

I just wanted to do a quick heads up about a couple of things. First, when David’s book The Geek’s Guide to Building a Home was released in June of 2009, I thought it was a great book. It discussed a lot of interesting topics and it even has a few recommendations. However, I didn’t use it until recently because I thought it was too expensive to use regularly.

Davids book isn’t exactly cheap, but it’s very well worth the price. It’s worth every penny, and I can’t recommend it enough. I like the fact that he includes a list of all the things you need to know in order to build a basic home. Some are obvious, like proper building materials, and most are things other people might overlook.

To start with, I would recommend getting a “building basics” list from David because it gives you the basic building knowledge you’ll need and also helps you to learn some of the things you’ll need. The “building basics” list is one of my favorites because it’s so comprehensive. I am also a huge fan of the website “davidyshomes.com” because it has the same core list of things to know as “david yost texas tech”.

There are tons of things to know about building materials in a variety of ways. Some of these things are listed at the bottom of this post, but a lot of the information I’ve shown are based on what I’ve already covered. A few of these things may not seem very relevant to your particular situation.

I think its important to know how to use the basic list and to make it your own. Most people are very comfortable with a certain item or a set of items, but not everyone has the knowledge of a basic list, or how to use it. I have a few basic list items that are very important in my own home, and its important to know how to use them.

To make sure you know how to use the basic list, and to make it your own, I have provided some examples. Here is a basic list of what kind of items you should have, and how they should be used.

A list like this is one of the best ways to make sure you have everything you need and can access the items at your own pace. It also makes it very easy for you to keep track of what you are doing, and to figure out if you need to go shopping, or if you are at work, or if you are on vacation, or if you need to cook dinner. It also gives you a good idea of what you should have ready to go.
